If you have been following, you know that my husband and I are buying our first home. We went with new construction. The bummer to new construction is that construction companies always seem to drag everything out. Despite the fact that we were told that the home could be finished one month ago, we are still waiting. We had to extend the closing date for my income audit, and we went to New York for a couple of weeks. Nothing got done on the home while we were in New York.

SO, now we’ve got our mortgage loan all lined up, and we’re waiting fro the house to be completed. Will it be in time for the closing this Friday? We still need to have a walk-through, a follow-up appraisal and a building inspection. The list of things that needs to be done by Friday is overwhelming. And the house isn’t even finished yet.
