Personal Finance: $100 Oil and You

    223935365th
We are a society dependent upon energy, especially oil. And with oil prices soaring, pretty soon it’s possible that you might see a very real hit to your wallet. You might already be seeing that.

$100 oil will affect you, and in some surprising ways. While most people think immediately of gas prices ($4 a gallon next spring/summer?), there are other ways that you might see your pocketbook emptying due to oil prices:

*Heating costs this winter will likely be higher
*Food and retail prices will rise, since it will cost more to transport goods
*Airline tickets will cost more, due to increases in jet fuel costs
