Christmas is pretty much here. Last minute shoppers are doing their best to wrangle the "perfect" present. And, even though shoppers are spending less this holiday season (due in large part to the economy), many of them nonetheless put Christmas shopping on the credit card.

As soon as the holiday is over, it is a good idea to sit down and plan how you will pay off that Christmas credit card debt as soon as possible. After all, you don’t want to be paying it off still when next Christmas comes.
