A couple of days ago, I shared my personal finance goals for 2008 and talked about saving for retirement.
My second goal for this year, with regard to my personal finances, is more ethical investing. There are a variety of ethical investing opportunities these days from micro loans to alternative energy and more.

This year, I hope to reallocate my portfolio so that more ethical companies are included, and so that I can drop some of the more unethical companies. A complete makeover isn’t possible immediately for me, but I can do the research and take steps to find companies whose practices better align with my values.
