Have You Checked Your Credit Report Lately?

With mortgage lenders pulling back a bit, it is more important than even to make sure that you have good credit before you attempt to buy a home. You need to check your credit report to make sure everything is as it should be.

Look for ways you can improve your credit score, and make sure that there are no mistakes on your report. Rather than going with a "free" credit report that requires you to sign up for a service, head over to www.annualcreditreport.com. You are allowed, by law, one free credit report each year from each major credit reporting bureau.
