Home mortgage applications are down for the week of March 28, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association. Additionally, applications for mortgage loan refinance are also down.

This could be to do with economic slowdown worries, in combination with the fact that many home mortgage lenders have made their standards tighter, creating increased difficulty in applying for home mortgage loans.
