    Finding Affordable Homes in the Current Market

    Even though it may be a little harder to get a home mortgage loan right now, it could really pay off if you are in a position to buy. Housing affordability, reports CNN Money, is returning now that the "froth" has been removed from the housing market.

    One of the areas that is growing in popularity is the sale of bank-owned properties, which are known as REOs. The REO market is picking up the pace, since many of these homes are from foreclosures, and are priced so that the bank no longer has to deal with them.
