I think it important to remember significant anniversaries, and 9/11 definitely qualifies. I hope that we all take the time to remember a few things about 9/11:

1. The sacrifices others make on our behalf.
2. The great humanity and compassion others can show.
3. The unity of the country.

This is a good moment to remember a time seven years ago when we were a nation united in doing what was best for the country. We should focus on that today, while remembering the great losses and sacrifices of friends, neighbors and fellow citizens.
