Remember to thank a veteran today! It’s Veterans’ Day, and we should do what we can to show gratitude and give thanks to those who put themselves in harm’s way on our behalf.

Even anyone deserves mortgage loan modification (as is being talked about by Citi and JP Morgan), it’s veterans. For some reason, when it comes to my tax dollars, enough isn’t spent on veterans — for their education, physical and mental health, for job retraining or for any number of other services.

So, think about what you have, and then thank a veteran. These men and women are what make it possible for the rest of us to enjoy safety, security and prosperity.
